Radiology & Surgery
Many medical issues that may affect your pet cannot be seen at the surface level.
To allow us to have an “inside look,” we routinely utilize X-rays, which help us to identify the cause of the issue. They are also effective in helping to rule out potential suspicions and identify problems before any symptoms occur.
X-rays provide valuable information about a pet’s Skeletal Structure, Gastrointestinal Tract (stomach, intestines, colon), Respiratory Tract (lungs, trachea), heart, and Genitourinary System (bladder, uterus, prostate).
Surgical Services
We proudly provide many surgical services, including routine and advanced procedures.
Because we want to ensure that our patients receive the best possible outcome, we occasionally refer them to specialists (board-certified veterinary surgeons) to perform complex operations in cases where advanced equipment or training will be beneficial.
Our veterinary team will take every necessary precaution to ensure your pet receives the safest anesthetic possible.
- Before every surgery, we perform a physical exam and pre-anesthetic testing.
- During the procedure, your pet is closely monitored, and their vitals are constantly watched.
Once the surgery is finished and your pet is in recovery, our team takes special care to check in on them every few minutes to ensure they are comfortable.

Other Things To Consider
Does your pet have a microchip?
Microchipping is a simple, safe and permanent form of identification that helps reunite lost pets with their owners.
This can be administered while your pet is being prepared for their surgery.
We would be delighted to discuss the benefits of microchipping and answer any questions you may have.
Does your adult pet have baby teeth that refuse to leave?
It’s important to remove any remaining deciduous teeth in adult dogs in order to prevent overcrowding and misalignment of the permanent teeth. This can be completed while your pet is here for surgery.
We will take a peek inside their mouth prior to surgery and advise if this service is needed!
